Site accounts and hosting
This site has no account system or advertising tags. The hosting provider may process ordinary request information such as IP addresses and server logs to deliver and secure the website.
Optional analytics
With your permission, Google Analytics measures page visits and use of the Play button and planning tools. Analytics stays off until you choose Allow analytics. We do not send your saved plans, notebook entries or URL fragments to Google. You can change your choice using Analytics settings in the footer; declining does not affect the game or tools.
Contact contact@theloopler.online about privacy. Messages to this address are forwarded to the site operator’s Gmail inbox and used to respond to your request.
External media and the game
Game artwork and promotional images load from itch.io or Steam’s image servers. Their operators receive the network information needed to deliver those requests. Clicking Play loads an itch.io-hosted game iframe. That third-party game may use browser storage and its own network requests. The site cannot read its save data.
YouTube
The media page creates a youtube-nocookie.com iframe only when you press its video button. That action connects to YouTube and related delivery services. Privacy-enhanced mode is not a promise that no data is processed.
Local notes and shared plans
Saving a plan or a run uses localStorage on your device. There is no server upload. Browser settings or clearing site data can delete the notes; use the JSON export to make a backup. A copied plan link includes your entered step names and values in the URL fragment. Anyone you share the link with can read that plan, so do not include personal or sensitive information.
Delete stored data
Use Delete local runs on the notebook page or clear this domain’s browser storage. Saving a new lab plan replaces the previously saved lab plan. Shared links already sent to other people cannot be recalled by this site.
