Three different questions
How often does the useful event happen? How much value does it produce? How long can the run sustain it? Write down these three questions before adding another modifier. This framework is an analysis aid, not the game’s scoring formula.
Do not assume infinite refueling
In the original Jam comments, Mheep explains that the +1 fuel-cell effect has diminishing returns. The exact curve is not supplied there. That developer reply belongs to the Jam build; it does not establish the release game’s fuel curve.
Separate speed from scoring
Faster visible motion alone does not prove an improvement in your chosen objective. Compare the same stage and objective and note whether the improvement came from event frequency, score per event or simply a longer attempt.
Use the lab for an order hypothesis
The Gate Order Lab shows the consequence of the arithmetic you enter. It does not model car physics, fuel, hidden caps, random effects or the complete trigger engine. Test a promising order in the real game before describing it as an Infinity build.
