The Loopler Demo vs full game

Three pages can carry the same game name without being the same build. The game embedded here is the original Jam edition; the separate web Demo and Steam full game have their own scope.

Original Jam game: what you play here

The author’s /the-loopler itch.io page is a GMTK Game Jam 2025 entry. It describes a ten-top-three-finish objective and mouse controls. Its dated patch notes use names such as Lapler and Golden Lap. This site’s Play button opens that author-hosted build.

Separate browser Demo

The /the-loopler-demo page advertises two cars, two tracks, two difficulties, 15+ upgrades and 8+ gates, with mouse, controller and touch input. That is a separate listing, not evidence that the embedded Jam game supports the same controls or content. Use the official Demo link to try that edition.

Steam full game

Steam lists the full game as released on 11 September 2026. Its advertised scope is 50 cards, 30 gates, 70 charms, nine cars, nine tracks and five difficulty modes, plus daily and weekly challenges. The store lists these totals; individual effects may differ from the historical references.

Do saves or build advice transfer?

Do not assume either. The Jam game does not document a save-migration option. Match a guide’s edition and date to your own game, then compare the actual tooltip before copying an old combination.
